Artview has recently completed a major 13-week, full-time, job on both our front yard and back yard. The job required significant earth moving, several retaining walls, stairs, fencing, and paving. Brian was professional from the beginning, taking the plans we had and making practical and sensible suggestions for change. Brian was clear about areas where variations may arise during the works, and as a result we had no surprises along the way (with budget variations reasonable and within expectations). Shane and his team led the work on-site and they were great. Shane was always happy to answer questions and he and Brian kept us informed to avoid any practical inconvenience along the way. We are thrilled with our new yard(s) and would happily recommend Artview Landscapes to anyone with a major garden project.

We bought our house in April and soon discovered we had a major drainage problem in the front yard which was affecting the house's structure and causing mould. We wanted the problem fixed quickly so we could move in.We called Artview.Brian listened to us and with his experience & expertise - he came up with ideas, we agreed a plan and signed the contract.When Shane and his team came to do the work they were fantastic. They did everything as promised and were wonderful to deal with. We were charged $550 for a consultation, which really should have been a red flag for us, we were advised we would receive “ in depth” plans / diagrams on how the garden would look and planting suggestions. We did not receive this. Instead I received a quote for close to 60k for basic garden beds and some pavers (no retaining walls) my home has a relatively small garden area (new build site, flat land) so I was really taken aback by it all, almost felt like it was over quoted on purpose, as he mentioned he didn’t have time this year unless I booked him in that week. I felt as though everything I mentioned brian would disagree with and I just felt like we didn’t get our value out of our consult we have had several landscapers out who have provided a lot of insight and value who did not charge us any fees at all. Subsequent quotes for the same work have come in significantly cheaper. While I understand everyone has a right to charge what they feel they are worth, I didn’t feel as though the consultation fee we were charged was justified. We walked away with the photos attached drawn up on the day of consultation, we got nothing for our back garden. Honestly I could have drawn up something a lot better. The overall Experience just didn’t sit right with us to move forward with artview, brian has attempted to get us to remove the review by plastering the site address we had quoted. So now we are dealing with a breach customer privacy.

Was not happy at all with parts of this job. Some mature plants were cut down so far it will take months for them to recover. Looks like someone hit them with a chainsaw. A rounded tree looks like a peanut shell in that it’s fat and top and bottom and skinny in the middle. Will not be using again.

Charged $770 to simply visit the site. Only to disregard what we wanted to achieve and enforce what he 'Brian' thinks we should do.Proceeded to then detail that only half of the work could be achieved within my budget.(Note: I have since engaged another landscaping company that were not only aligned with our vision but also completed all of the work within budget).On the day Brian was pencil sketching the work we wanted (it was so rudimentary that my 5yo could do the same). The agreement on the phone prior to his visit was to have detailed drawings (mud maps) provided as part of the service only to never receive them.When asked about the detailed mud maps, the response was that he would send the sketching he performed on the day... (Like previously mentioned, they were so basic that it was almost useless). I still haven't received them.Artview may have been great for others, but for us they were simply a waste of time, and we feel cheated out of $770.

Brian and his team (Shane and Luke) did an amazing job overhauling our front and side yard. Yards previously - and literally - full of overgrown yuccas, jade plants and patches of grass has now transformed into a beautiful flower and herbs garden. Even our kids are very happy with their new garden and learning about all the flowers and herbs. Brian listened to what we wanted and he came up with this idea of what the garden would look like, and incorporated all the inputs that we gave. Even throughout the work process, he would pop by and advise us on the progress and, still, listened to our feedback. The boys (Shane and Luke) did a tremendous job with all the heavy lifting.
